Boost energy Naturally Tea
We all have the same problem these days-we need more energy so we can get done the massive amount of tasks each day brings! Whether you’re a parent with young children, a student athlete, or work a 60-hour a week type of job, sometimes it feels like there’s no end in sight. So we turn to coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
But what if I told you there was another solution?
We’re not bashing coffee by any means, in fact a daily cup is good for you.
But we’re willing to wager that you drop in more than a teaspoon of sugar and a dollop of milk. And if you’ve stopped sipping your Starbucks caramel frappucino with whipped cream to have a chuckle, we’re looking at you, kid. All of that sugar and fat mixed with some resemblance of caffeine might give you a rush for an hour or two, but with that sweet, sweet high comes a very sharp fall. And you’re left lethargic, grasping for that next cup. Sound familiar?
Tea, on the other hand, is not as bitter as coffee, and can include a variety of flavor infusions with little or no need for any additive. And while tea does have less caffeine than coffee, it also has a string of extra benefits. Green tea, for example, contains antioxidants that help fight cancer, and it has been shown to help with weight loss.
By forgoing all of the additives you would have needed in coffee, and by its own caffeine content, tea will ensure long lasting energy with some wonderful benefits to your overall health.
There are tons of varieties. For those die-hard coffee fans, a black tea might be the best choice. And for those who hate black tea, try green tea for an earthier taste. I personally choose LumiTea’s Rise blend, a tea with a green tea base coupled with lemon grass and ginseng for added stamina.
So get out there and pinkies up!
