LumiTea Rise Morning Quinoa Cookies by Chef Phil Tees
Have a hankering for something sweet in the morning, but don’t want to completely fall off the diet wagon? Take a look at this amazing recipe by Chef Phil Tees for a delicious morning treat without the guilt!
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup peanut butter
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 Banana, mashed
- 3/4 cup Rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Quinoa flakes (or substitute for more rolled oats!)
- 1 Teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Serving of LumiTea Rise
Pre-heat oven to 350 F
Warm up 1/4 cup of water and infuse with 1 serving of LumiTea Rise. - Set aside.
In a bowl, beat eggs with peanut butter, water and mashed bananas. mix until smooth. Add dry Ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Drop 1 tablespoon of dough onto a baking sheet, repeat until no dough remains, flatten with wet hands or a butter fork (the butter will stop the fork from sticking)
Bake cookies on center rack for 13-15minutes, take out and cool down for 20 minutes before eating!
